Gain some experience with the cloud-side quirks, etc. And, to my mind one of the key elements is that their people are all over these forums monitoring for issues, input, and so on.īack to your question: If i were you I'd consider a trial deployment (live, real endpoints, just on a limited basis). The upside, it seems they're on a constant-improvement trajectory hence why I still stick with them. So this whole past year has been them trying to catch up, while at the same time trying to move forward progressively enough that they remain competitive. A lot of internal process improvements are needed, the overseas tech support teams are very green, the overall platform needs some basic common sense improvements that aren't present at the moment, but I think this is mostly because Symantec dropped the mess that was the Endpoint Protection product base into Broadcom's lap - and Broadcom had no idea what they were getting into and completely underestimated just about everything. But yeah it's a very bumpy road right now. Again, emphasis on the working hard part because every time I raise an issue, it appears it's already well known and actively being worked on.
